Live Workshop Preparation
Let’s Get You Ready for the Workshop
To help you get the most out of your live workshop experience, please review the preparation steps below before your session.
Arriving prepared allows us to move smoothly through the material and spend more time on hands-on design and problem-solving. The better prepared everyone is, the more we can accomplish together.
If someone runs into a technical issue during the session, no worries — I’ll assign guided tasks to the group while I work one-on-one to get things sorted out. That way, everyone continues making progress.
If you’d like to explore the Inkscape or Illustrator interface ahead of time, that’s great — but not required. We’ll walk through everything step by step during the workshop.
Looking forward to working with you. – Ron

Friday before Workshop
Watch for Emails
Friday Morning we will send out 2 emails to your registered email.
#1.) will be a Download Link to Get the files we will be using in the workshop. “Subject: Your Stencil Workshop Files”
#2.) Will be a Link to come into the Studio. Subject “Connect to the Workshop”
Drag your Workshop Files.zip to your desktop and double click the file to extract to a folder on your desktop where you can find these easily once the Workshop starts,
Check your Connection
We will have the Studio Open to check your connection on Friday night from 6:00pm – 8:00pm (EST). The Studio will be playing a Slideshow of the Workshop Agenda. If you see the Slideshow you have made a successful connection. After viewing your agenda you can log off and use the same connection link on Saturday. If you are having problems connecting you can call or text to the number in the email.
Not neccessary but if you can setup an extra monitor to your computer this will make your training experience better as you can watch the training session and work on your other monitor with your software. You may use an Ipad or other device to watch but a phone is not recommended as it will make the training screen small and hard to view.
Please Plan to Arrive On Time Saturday
The studio will open 30 minutes before your scheduled session to allow time for connection checks and any technical adjustments. I encourage you to join early so we can begin promptly and make the most of our time together.
If you experience connection issues before or during the session, you’re welcome to call or text me directly at the number provided in your confirmation email. I’ll do my best to help you get connected quickly.
Starting on time ensures everyone receives the full value of the workshop experience.
